SERVING AMERICA'S RURAL TRANSPORTATION PLANNING PROFESSIONALS


The resources found here provide information to assist transportation and economic development professionals, policymakers and stakeholders. These references include documents and presentations in the Resource Library that cover such topics as economic development, GIS and ITS applications and public transportation.

Samples of rural planning organizations' (RPOs') work such as planning documents and maps are available in RPO Products, while RPO Models provides work programs detailing the structures that various states use to form RPOs and the tasks they complete to contribute to rural consultation and statewide transportation plans.

Links to federal and state agencies, research partners, national associations and other organizations and resources will provide visitors with additional information not found here.
