Using a model focused on increasing tourism while preserving historic landmarks, the Lowcountry Council of Governments has set out to connect sites of renowned Revolutionary War skirmishes across southern South Carolina using Transportation Enhancement funds, donations, membership in the trail foundation and in-kind staff time.
